《锁战》故事讲述一宗离奇失踪案，让“山叔”（许绍雄饰）痛失了爱妻山嫂，也让“张以静”（高海宁饰）自小没了母爱。“山叔”本是一名锁匠，经营一家名为“诚信”的锁店，却因为这场意外失智了。他随后收了一位爱徒“程浩仁”（姜皓文饰），“阿仁”接班了山叔的好手艺，精通开锁，甚至青出于蓝。
正因为他的这一手好功夫，经常被警察找去帮忙开锁的他也因此和警探“刘业信”（黄浩然饰）变成了好友。至今“阿仁”从未遇见他开不了的锁。一直到有一次的开锁工作中，他碰见了多年没见的老友“李全凯”（陈沛江饰）。自此，接二连三的怪事陆续发生，“阿仁”还成为一起凶案的头号嫌疑犯。
