剧情讲述重案犯罪搜查队刑警“徐道哲”（黄晸珉饰），不分昼夜地和队员们一同对抗犯罪。某天，一名教授之死竟与之前发生的杀人案有关，全国上下因连环杀手而感到焦虑不安。刑警们开始展开搜查，然而连环杀手彷彿在嘲笑他们般，竟将下一个要杀害的目标公布在网上，令全国民众人心惶惶。充满正义感的刑警“朴善宇”（丁海寅饰）也加入重案犯罪搜查队，案件也有新的发展……
