“The Pinwheels 2023”颁奖典礼于昨晚在巴西班让发电厂圆满举行，擅长把“乏味”科学知识变为有趣的内容创作者“Just Keep Thinking”打败多位强劲对手，成功夺下大奖“最佳年度创作者”及“最佳新人”，成为双料得主大赢家。
“The Pinwheels 2023”由新传媒主办，并获得YouTube的支持，旨在表彰数码内容创作的卓越成就。本届赛事共收到来自多名创作者所提交的434件参赛作品。
本地科学内容创作者“Just Keep Thinking”击败了淡马锡理工学院、Mothership和TSL Media等竞争对手，赢得了“最佳年度创作者”的头衔，并获得$10,000的内容制作赞助金。
“Just Keep Thinking”也凭“How does the Singapore Army’s Artillery hit their targets?”视频被评选为今年的“最佳新人”，并获得额外的$5,000内容制作赞助金。
其他备受瞩目的奖项包括Hakeem James Hausley制作的纪录片“Air Time”夺下了“最佳年度内容”，并获得了$5,000内容制作赞助金。“最佳创新视频”则由Mothership制作的“The gang leader who murdered a man in his own home: One-Eyed Dragon | True Crime”视频夺下。
除了颁出了各个奖项，主办方也邀来多位表演嘉宾呈献精彩表演，包括马来西亚蔡恩雨、网红3P、DJ和制作人MYRNE、口技表演者Dharni以及Joie Tan、Umar、Rangga和Keyana等本地独立音乐人。
