Malaysia's Good Vibes Festival seeks $3.61 million in damages from British band The 1975 after its lead singer's same-sex kiss onstage prompts authorities to shut down the music event.

（综合讯）英国摇滚团体The 1975于7月21日在马来西亚音乐节“Good Vibes Festival”的表演掀起争议，主唱Matty Healy在台上演唱时，不仅上演“男男激吻”，还公开批评马国政府对LGBTQ+的态度和法律，引起本地政府的不满和抗议，最终导致音乐节被取消。主办方Future Sound Asia要求The 1975因违约行为，赔偿1230万马币（约361万新元）。

同性恋行为在马来西亚属于违法，而The 1975主唱Matty Healy在台上公开的行为等同于挑战当地法规。马国通讯部因此取消“Good Vibes Festival”音乐节3天活动，剩余演出也一律遭取消，并将The 1975列入黑名单。

而The 1975原定7月25日到台湾于台北流行音乐中心开唱，没想到主办单位也宣布演唱会取消，外界推测原因就是The 1975在“Good Vibes Festival”表演时惹出的争议。
